Hello,
Our lab has recently needed to support two versions of Motive on the same computer (2.0.2 and 1.7.5). However, all attempts at installing both have been unsuccessful. If the 1.7.5 version is installed while 2.0.2 is already installed, 1.7.5 will open fine, but 2.0.2 will crash on launch with "error code -16". If the 2.0.2 version is installed while the 1.7.5 version is already installed, the installer will delete the 1.7.5 installation entirely.
Could we be advised on how we can support both versions on the same computer? Thank you.

Re: Installing Multiple Versions of Motive
Hello jameshlin,
Thanks for reaching out to the community regarding your installation question.
Unfortunately, we do not support installing multiple versions of Motive on the same machine, and there is currently no way around this limitation.
You could try installing a virtual machine with one of the versions on it, if it is intended for use in Edit mode. If you need both to be able to run the system, however, the virtual machine setup will not work.
Best,
Steven
