Hello,
We are newcomers for Motive and use it for design's expert estimation. So we use some basic physical parts in order to provide tactile feeling. We synhronize their positions between VR and real worlds. We use passive markers only. But very often the skeleton segments mix up with rigid bodies and so VR objects lose their position synhronization and vice versa skeleton segments lose their physical body segments.
I'm sure that kind of problem has solutions, because we saw video with many guys running whith guns. Could you please share with me some lifehacks on how to solve that mixing up (without LED markers)?
Rigid body mix up with sceleton segments
Re: Rigid body mix up with sceleton segments
Hi Aviator
You might be getting this swapping because the rigid bodies are too similar. When using passive markers, you need to have each cluster of markers be as different as possible to avoid this problem.
Hope this helps

Hello messi,
Thanks for reaching out to the community regarding your rigid body issues.
Please feel free to reach out to Support, directly, if you would like some help troubleshooting. If you can provide a recording (.tak) showing the rigid bodies swapping with the skeleton, we can use this to check your setup and look for any possible problems.
Best regards,
Steven
