It sometimes takes a lot of pushing for a developer to add this support, I think some still see this as a gimmick and not the best thing to happen for sim players since the invention of the joystick Hopefully now with so many sims having TIR support development teams will consider this just as important as adding joystick support!

Hello:

I couldn't agree more. It looks to me like we now have all the flight sims around, please correct me if I am wrong!

I just added in a new forum for Aces High II.

A new version of Aces High II was released yesterday with native TIR support

I think you do now have just about all the popular sims covered you guys have done a great job getting support into these games..I don't like to fly a sim without my TIR hooked up. It's just the FPS developers you need to convince now to give game characters a neck so they can look around independant of their direction of travel, to have that in games like Joint Operations, Ravenshield etc would be awesome.

======================

Added native TrackIR support. The default keys are CTRL F1, CTRL F2, CTRL F3, CTRL F4, and CTRL F5 corresponding to Tracker Pan, Tracker Snap, Tracker Move, Tracker Center, and Tracker OFF. If you have remapped keys in the past, you will need to manually map these functions. They are located in the Views portion of the keymapper.
NOTE: To get full head movement, you will need to download the next version of the TrackIR driver from NaturalPoint when available.I'm wondering when the new NP/TIR software will be out. The overall system seems to work pretty well, I'd like it to lock into forward view a little better so my gunnery wont suffer as much. Also the up view is kinda weak. The up-back view is best if reached by looking back-up rather than up-back. I've only flown about 15 minutes and it was offline drone shooting but I am pretty happy with it so far. WTG HTC!
