Guys I do not know if anyone has played any of the X games. For me they are the Elite of today and not just drop dead gorgeouse (have a look here http://www.egosoft.com/x/xnews/200507_44News.html for details.

TIR would be great in this to help locate objects and for combat (like flightsims). As it is still in developement it would still be possible to look into native support out of the box.

Well this game has now gone gold, so did we end up getting full support? Fingers crossed..

Well X2 was far far from perfect but it was a nice game. However the fighting was not that good and the cut scenes and voice acting was down right silly.

What we need is another Tie fighter, Freespace 2, Starlancer It will be interesting to see what X3 has to offer though

Hey guys,

I just read that it hasn't cockpits. You probably know, what I think of games with no cockpits
Nevertheless, I hope for you guys, that TiR support is implemented.
BTW: Nothing beats sitting in the virtual cockpit of an ETA-2 Actis Jedi Starfighter, looking out for enemies with my TiR (nothing beats SWG ).

Patch 1.2 is out and fixes most of the imediate bugs including joysticks not being seen in game.

I'll wait to buy it until Track-Ir is supported.

So is x3 supported. Oh and if the last 2 games are any sort of track record they will be sending out patches as fast as they can. the support from Egosoft is awesome.
