Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

Post by ginzo »

I vaguely remember getting an update email from NaturalPoint about upcoming TrackIR support for various games and one of them listed was TrackIR. Now I didn't read the email closely, just glanced at it and deleted it and so I'm asking now just to make sure I didn't imagine it - will GTA:SA have native TrackIR support in the future?

I looked in my magic 8-ball and it said: Try again later.

*shakes it again*

This time it read: All signs point to yes

I must say that the GTA games would be really great with TrackIR. Missions where you are driving through streets looking for specific places or people would be so much easier- and avoiding collisions while turning too.

This would be a great xmas present.

I'm trying to get mouse emulation to work in SA - the default cameras do have mouselook so it doesn't have to be explicitly enabled in-game. Can't get it going tho - i've enabled mouseemu from the Start menu but the pointer doesn't move, even within Windows. I was looking forward to using my new toy with the Racer_S camera hack...

Edit: Duh... no wonder - i had Arma running in the background. It works fine...
