Windows 8 - TrackIR software can't see games

Hi,

I just got my TrackIR 5 up and running and pretty much everything seemed to work ok. I got the software installed, green light came on, movements were tracked nicely no problems.

But.. When I started up War Thunder, the TrackIR software did not notice it in any way, i.e. the blue light did not even blink. I also tried Arma 2, but exact same effect. I tried toying about with the settings, loosening security settings etc. , but no effect whatsoever.

I tried looking for an answer, but it seems that the latest version of TrackIR should be Windows8 compatible. What am I doing wrong?

How does TrackIR find the enchanced titles on a computer? Is it based on process names? Is there anywhere where I can modify this list?

Hi Tom,

I recommend trying to run TrackIR and your game as an administrator. I would also check for game list updates if you have not done so already. Let me know if you need further assistance with this.
