I see that in the Titles tab of the TrackIR Sofware there's now support for a 'Unity 3D Plugin' but so far I've been unable to find out where you get the plugin for Unity itself. Can anyone at Naturalpoint shed some light on this?
Thanks.

Re: Unity 3D Plugin
No comment from NP then? Not even a 'sorry we've got no information'. Considering Unity's potential to create many more TrackIR games/customers I'd have thought you might have at least commented...

Hi Carwash,
Sorry, I think your post slipped through the cracks while we were at a trade show. The Unity plugin was developed by Tobias at ByBrick Interface. You can see some discussion on the topic here:
http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/59345-TrackIR-Support
I'm not sure if the plugin has been made publicly available yet or not.

It is available since some months: https://github.com/byBrick/Unity-TrackIR-Plugin
I've started implementing it into my upcoming commercial flight sim. Is this plugin officially supported?
Am I allowed to mention support for TrackIR hard & software in the description of my title when using the plugin?
Another point is the Mac, I've got the OS X version of my game successfully running with open source drivers that support the TrackIR hardware on linux and OS X. You mentioned the drivers in this thread http://forum.naturalpoint.com/forum/ubb ... mber=48363
Is it OK to mention that my game supports TrackIR hardware on OS X or are there any legal issues?

Re: Unity 3D Plugin
The Unity plugin is officially supported, so if you elected to use that path for TrackIR integration, it's fine for you to mention TrackIR support.
Regarding the linux-track project--that is not officially supported, so while you can probably safely say that your OS X version "can be used with TrackIR" via linux-track, please do not say that it is "supported", "compatible" or other phrasing which might imply that it is officially supported by NaturalPoint.

Thank you, I've made the necessary corrections to the text I wrote here yesterday:

I hope this is the correct way and that it is OK to recommend your hardware as optimal tracking solution for my game even with unsupported drivers.
