FPS Games - New to site

Post by Talorn »

I saw the blurb in PC Gamer about this Natural Point this morning and stopped by! I just wanted to clear something up for myself - It looks like this works great for fighter sims, but how does it work with FPS's? For instance, Half-life mods (CS and DOD) or Unreal Tournament... Does it work with these or is it a "future enhancement?" Product looks great, just looking for info...

Fast FPS are a bit difficult with Track IR but slower ones like Swat 3 & OPFP can be ok. It all takes time to master but I prefer a mouse & keyboard myself for FPS games

(This is my personal opinion though, Halstead likes FPS with his Track IR)

It might be interesting to have direct TrackIR support in for example Flashpoint. That way you could use the mouse for aiming and just look around with TIR.
