These are the production noes for the upcomming 1.14 release.
Note it states 'Native Support for Track IR'

Confirmed
WW2OL's 1.14 upgrade will include Track IR2 Enhanced Mode support.
And it works just beautifully

I am so looking forward to this.
Now if only I could get them to send me my log in info so I can play the game again, seems my emails got unoticed to the WW2 online team about it.

I was very happy to hear this!
I play IL2 only a few times a month max... the graphics are so amazing, but WWII Online has been my main game for the last 2+ Years. The size of that virtual batllefield, strategy and user interface are like no other. I play a min of 2 times a week, sometimes everyday.
Anyway, the TrackIr support for WWII Online is enough to buy one now. In fact, I am going to order it now!!! HAHAHA
Groovy. Glad to see the Rats finally saw the light.

Over the next few days I will do a walkthrough on how to set up TrackIR for WW2OL.
If you get the chance guys, this game rocks with TrackIR support.

Here you go. I made the following post on the WWII Online forums soon after I figured it out
Here are the steps:
1) Run
TrackIR and set it to
enhanced mode
2) Run
WWII Online
3) Go to the
Kepmapper
4) Go to the
Views subgroup.
5) Scroll down and
find the 2 mouse-look axis
6) Select mouse-x (
double click to change the axis)
7)
Move your head (if you have the cap or dot on your geeky forehead) side to side
TrackIR X comes up
8) Same for Y axis
9) Go in an Aircraft and press the 'Mouse look toggle button'
10)
TrackIR enhanced mode baby!

After checking out some new player made movies of TrackIR in WWIIOL since the new patch was released with native support for TrackIR, I just placed my order. This device just seems a necessary item for all us armchair soldiers! Now I just have to get through the next week or so until it arrives at my door. Heh heh...
