X³: Albion Prelude?

Just saw that the next X-Universe game is being released next week. On the front page it says: "Support for head tracking"

Is this true? Are the X games finally getting TrackIR support!?!?! :)

We have been in renewed discussion with EGOSOFT, and they've been experimenting with our SDK. Fingers crossed. ;)

I can confirm that TrackIR support is in Albion prelude, but currently it is a shoddy implementation.

The crosshair moves with the view, so you have to set a huge deadzone to ensure that you have a true aim, or toggle TIR on and off.
Not worth playing with TrackIR at the moment (Great game though!).
