TrackIR4 - Change sensitivity for looking up?

Post by fspilot1 »

Hi All,

No doubt this answer is posted in the forum somewhere, but I'm short on time so am posting a quick message now...

How do I alter my TrackIR settings so it takes less head movement to look upwards than it does to look down? I'm finding in some aircraft its almost impossible to get a good view of the overhead, but its easy to look down towards the pedestal.

I'm aware its something to do with adjusting the graph in the TrackIR software (so I've been told) but don't know what I need to be adjusting...

Many thanks in advance!

To do that you'll want to edit the graph while the Pitch axis is selected. Uncheck the Mirror option, then you'll want to tweak the graph on the left or negative side. The further to the left of the center line represents actual head movement in degrees. Moving the dots upward will increase how much TrackIR multiplies head movement that is reported to the game or sim. You will want these to make an arc that is higher then the right side.

Let me know if you need me more info or details.
