I can assure you you will love this device!
It keeps me in the cockpit, you can track the enemy until they are scared of you still flying behind them.

I'm with the little at a time train of thought! I tried the jump in there and "Just Do It". It didn't work too well. I fiddled and fiddled with my profile until it felt natural. You NEED a centering button on your Joystick. Click and you're centered. You also need and On/Off button.
Once the profile was refined I used TIR until I went "Guns", then shut it off! I still do this in Pacific Fighters just prior to touch down on Carriers. It is not unlike the real pilots fixing on the Gunsite or the ball. Note there are no HERO points awarded in our SIMs. Use it like any other tool. Very soon you won't be able to fly without it.
