Hi all,

I Have TrackIr since 3 days and have the same framerate loss problem. I cannot tell if it depends on time played (I tested it only on QMB). The FPS drop is more noticable when I for example get close to some bombers and the CPU gets more involved (what Ive noticed). To get the framerate back to normal its enough to put an object in front of the markers (to loose tracking).

I just thought that this information could be usefull, as most of the people were writing about turning off the tracking software, and it seems enough to loose the tracking.

If you are experiencing frame rate drops please go through the following steps.

Do the following:

Click Start --> Run

Type dxdiag and click OK

This will launch dxdiag. Click Next.

Check that there are no warnings on the DirectX Files tab. If there are it could be that you have corrupt/out-of-date drivers.

Click next

Run all the display tests. Note any errors. (if you have two monitors you'll need to run tests for each one)

Click next

Save the report to your desktop.

Attach the report to an email and send it to support@naturalpoint.com.

In the email please note whether you are experiencing frame rate drops in ALL games you play with TrackIR or just some games.

Also please check your processes tab and check to see how much CPU the TrackIR software is taking when it is just running by itself.

We will work to compile your responses and identify a solution.

Ok, so it's an add-on/mod that updates the game. Did you try using the TrackIR with the 4.04m update before downloading the add-on.

No I didnt, I got the TrackIr four days ago, but play 4.05m for some months now. I will give it a try, but everybody on Hyperlobby is playing 4.05m So I have to stick with this version to play online.

Hmm, that was supposed to be reslved in the 2.03 patch. I will have to do a little testing, to see if I can narrow down the issue.
