Hi all Iam totally nivice on this and can�t get it how I should do to get it work in enhanced mode as we run SP4,1 at the moment in our squad .I understand there are no profiles anywhere to download,u have to make your own in TIR4 trackmapper right? well to be honest i do not get a grip of this even if i read manuals so please anyone HELP! to get i going ????
would be a nice X-mas gift if anyone could help !!!!!!!

You have to download the TIRF4.zip file from here

First you have to change the shortcut properties for SP4 by adding -head after the file location.
C:\MicroProse\Falcon4\FalconSP.exe -head
After you start Falcon SP4 you hit Tab+Alt to get back to the desktop after the Falcon 4.0 menu page loads.
Then activate the TIRF4 file.
Go back to Falcon and load a mission and get in the pit.
Hit the 3 key for the 3D pit.
The blue and green LEDs should be on.

1) Install Falcon 4.0 from CD then install 1.08 US patch.
2) Install Falcon SP4.
3) Place these instructions in the Falcon4/falconsp.cfg file using the text editor.
Set g_EnableTrackIR 0
set g_bTrackIR2DCockpit 1
set g_nTrackIRSampleFreq 512
set g_fTIR2DPitchPercentage 0.5
set g_fTIR2DYawPercentage 0.5
4) Install TracIR 3 Pro software version 4.0.0.021
5) Make Default setting for Falcon 4. Check box for �Exclusive-load�.
6) Install TIRF4 file to desktop.

D:\MicroProse\Falcon4\FalconSP.exe �head
(I have Falcon installed on my D: drive)
7) Start FalconSP from Desktop Shortcut.
8) Activate TIRF4 file on Desktop.
9) Return to Falcon by clicking F4 on taskbar.
10) Load a Tactical Engagement/Takeoff.
11) When you are in the pit of the F-16 aircraft, depress the 3# key to go to the 3D pit.
12) The blue and green LEDs should be working to indicate TrackIR is working properly in enhanced mode.
13) Move head to verify that TrackIR is tracking properly.

I'm not sure why this step is in the install. I haven't ran a non-BMS version of SP4 but I don't believe it supports these config edits. I think they are BMS only. I don't think they will hurt, just don't expect them to really do anything.
