Chase view, Pacific Fighters

Post by bchivers »

I would like to be able to use the chase view and track side to side as well as up and down.

So you would like the TrackIR to functional outside of the cockpit?

I have it setup to function outside of the cockpit. It will either track in the chase view(6 oclock) which only has up and down tracking or if I center it, it centers to a view of about 4 oclock. When I center outside of the cockpit I would like it to center at 6 oclock(looking from the tail to the nose).

I do not believe that IL2 allows you to look left and right in chase view. I believe you are restricted to moving your view up and down only. To look all around your cockpit, you need to use the external view F2.
