Both lights on (Green), no movement!
I hope that FSX does not have the same problem.
TIRKIR5 not working in 2004
Re: TIRKIR5 not working in 2004
Make sure you have the standard language.dll installed with FS2004. Some custom versions of the DLL remove strings required by TrackIR.
Ensure that the notification messages in FS2004 are turned on. The notifications appear in the upper right corner in red when switching to the virtual cockpit. The setting is found in your fs9.cfg file located by default in:
c:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9
[Main]
HideInfoText=0

Re: TIRKIR5 not working in 2004
I know this is old, but I just had to say thanks.
Maybe I missed it, but I was searching for hours trying to find a solution to TrackIR not working in FS9. I like using the HideInfoText=0 feature to disable all text at all times (always hate it popping up when I zoom in/out or change views).
Turns out that's what does it. Anyway, thanks a lot. I'm so glad I found this post. I only wish it could have been stickied somewhere so that I would find this info sooner.
Thank you!
(If it is stickied somewhere more obvious - I'm sorry, I haven't seen it!)
