Does Track IR-3 Pro work wth USB 2?

Yes, I have confirmed that the TrackIR3 works with USB 2.0. It also works when attached to a powered USB 2.0 HUB. I do not know about an unpowered hub.

I cannot answer than one honestly as I have not played with it in the USB 1.1 slots. All of my USB slots are filled with stuff and I cannot easily shift them around to a point where I can 'play' with it like that.

However, in a theoretical sense, I would say it is better for both the TrackIR and the computer for you to run it in 2.0. The reason is because with the TrackIR2, NP was severely pushing the limits of the 1.1 standard. For better resources, I would say stick with 2.0.

Again, I do not know that part to be fact as it is only speculation on my part. I am sure it will work fine on a 1.1 system. But if you have the choice, go with the 2.0.

The USB Specification version 2.0, drafted by Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Lucent, Microsoft, NEC and Philips will increase device data rates to a maximum 480 Mb/s, 40 times faster than USB 1.1 devices.

I have USB 1.0 and 2.0 on my home system and TrackIR works on both ports. I have to be honest and say that I have not noticed a speed increase or decrease between the two ports.
