S! That was it guys! I did read the manual and said to myself, "yeah-I'm about that far away." but after reading your last posts I decided to measure and move it back alittle farther..Tadah! I'm as happy as a clam now! It got silky smooth and I just waxed a Fokkerwolf! (AI mind ya) Thanks Charlie and Wayne-Thanks a bunch for not giving up on me!
Wayne, I'd still like to take a look at your profile and movie. What is the title?

Re: Frustrated
Ned: Awesome. Good to see a solution has worked and a happy face. Great news. Like I said, it is a pleasure to deal with someone who is nice for a change.
The video will more than likely be posted on the movie page in a few days. You can find it here: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/products/video.html
I am actually using the same profile for AEP that I was using for FB. I dont see much of a difference at all in the speed settings and am happy with it where it is. However, I am always tweaking a number by 1 or 2 every few days just to dial it in to the best possible profile (never achievable I dont think but I am close! )
Wayne: Interupt all you would like. It's your forum.

Re: Frustrated
Charlie;
Thanks for the excellent instructions above... I now have profile that works for me and a far better understanding of the Track IR software.
Up to now my views have been more akin to what a small somewhat panicked squirrel monkey would see while jumping around the cockpit doing this and that.

Re: Frustrated
Grey,
Glad this worked out for you. Once you know what all the little things mean, you can use them so much better to make it all work perfectly.
A custom profile is the only way to go in my opinion. The software gives you the tools to make TrackIR as personal and custom as it gets.... and once you get it there, the results are amazing....
Glad it helped!
