Device driver despair

Hi Wayne. I spoke to you a couple of days ago when I called about the replacement of my trackIR that hade a broken cord. It arrived today but when I try to plug it in and go through the Found New Hardware process it stops and reads this...

There was a problem installing this hardware:

Windows cannot load the device drivers for this hardware. The driver may be corruptedmor missing. (Code 39)

After that it sends me to a usless troubleshooting screen. Wassuuuup?
