Windows shutdown

Post by Gurberly »

I've noticed that when I leave TrackIR running in the system tray and then do a Windows XP Shutdown/Restart, is takes an age (well 4 minutes or so ) for Windows to shut down.

I'm pretty sure it's TrackIR, as if I close it down first, then do a Windows shutdown, no problem. None of the other peripheral hardware, scanners printers etc cause the problem when they are loaded, just TrackIR

Is there any way of speeding it up?

check "auto unload this profile" on the Profile tab.

thanks... the auto unload option is enabled... still takes an age though. I'm getting into the habit of shutting it down manually first instead of letting windows try and shut it down.

thanks though
