Dear Mr...

Post by ssy523 »

Dear Mr.
I'm not a native English speaker so I'm afraid you may got my intensions wrong.
I really enjoy using your product. but unfortunately I found some problems. and I wish this could be small assist for your next version of product.
I have posted this message 3 times but no answers.

1) When I press F8 (Motion mode) several times at the Motion screen. It causes an error like below. Could you let me know how to handle it?

AppName: naturalpoint.exe
AppVer: 3.1.1.0
ModName: naturalpoint.exe
ModVer: 3.1.1.0
Offset: 0000ac82

2) I assigned my profile to the Lock-On:Modern Air Combat. But the profile was not loaded automatically when I loaded Lock-On v1.02. It seems like trackIR does not recognize whether the 'LockOn v1.02' is running or not.

3) I turned off the Hotkeys for Motion Mode and saved it to my own profile. But, when I reopen the profile, Motion Mode option is On again (rechecked). So, I can not save the state of Motion Mode.

My computer: P4 2.4GHz
OS: Windows xp pro. SP2 Korean language
MEM: 768MB Samsung SDRAM
VGA: FX5700 128MB
TrackIR: TrackIR 3 Pro (software v3.12)
Lock-On: 1.02
The TIR unit plugged directly into the USB port

Seyoung,

Sorry that I had missed your post, its not often that one slips through.

Firstly I will cover question 1. I have had this reported to me, but this only happens when you continually press the F8 key to enable/dissable the unit over and over again.
I am looking into this. Under normal use this should not be noticeable.

For question 2 and 3. I have just tested Lo-MAC patched to v1.02, and everything saved as normal, and my selected profile loaded.
Are you using the save button to save the changes that you have made, under that profile?
This time do not save the changes and exit your software when asked if you wish to make changes, say yes. Restart your software to see if the changes were made.

Page 20 of the manual explains the autoload process. If you are still having problems please let me know. I will also take a look at this on my side

Thank you for your reply.
As you told me, I didnt save my profile using save button but I did when the program exit. Well??? The result was same. Please refer to following images.

Regarding the auto load, I tested it again using GTR racing. And, the result was fine.
So, I think, its not the problem of TrackIR but the malfunction of Lock-On v1.02.
I updated it from v1.0 to v1.02. But this time Im going to try other way (update form v1.0 to v1.01 and then v1.02).

Thank you for your help.

Have you checked that Lomac doesn't already have F11 key bound to something else or perhaps your joystick controller software?
