Congtrats on the announcement of your latest technology. It certainly has me interested in purchase and I have a few questions:
1. Your minimum specifications were surprisingly low. I've read that frames per second play just as an important roll . Tell me, what is the minimum FPS one must have to obtain smooth performance using FS2004? I heard one should obtain a 30FPS average which would be very hard in FS2004.
2. Will your latest product (and the vector attachement), work in a multi-monitor environment such as using WidevieW or a typical LAN?
3. Will it work in a multi-monitor environment if both monitors are using a dual output graphics card? (Like a ATI Pro 9700)
4, Does it work with ATI graphic cards as I thought I read it does not.
looking forward to your replies,
thx

Re: A few questions on the IR3 Pro version...
Hi there.
I am not sure what specifications you are talking about but I use the TrackIR3 and Vector in FS2004 and get awesome frame rates. The TrackIR itself has nothing to do with in game FPS at all. The FPS listed on the TrackIR is how many 'polls per second' it takes. Basically... how many times it updates the position of the reflected dot every second. I have never noticed a decrease in game performance when using the TrackIR.
It 'should' work with multi-monitor rigs as long as the game you are playing does too. However, that is purely theoretical and I cannot tell you for absolute sure that it does.
I run an ATI 9800 Pro and it works perfectly.
Not sure where you are getting your info for numbers 1 and 4 but it looks completely false!
Hope this helps.

I think that there is a little confusion with the eDimensional 3D glasses.
Re: A few questions on the IR3 Pro version...
Actually, I got the minimum specs here on this website... unless I was directed to the wrong page.
But of course I cannot find it (shouldn't that be listed with the product infomation?) So let me ask to be sure what are the minimum PC specifications to run the IR3 Pro with the Vector enhancement.
Regarding the FPS speed, I am not talking about the scanning rate of your product. After reading several forums on the product I am hearing the game you are running needs to have high frame rates otherwize you may see some type of distortion, or non-smooth pans.
I am hearing 30FPS is the bare minimum for fast reaction. This may be easily obtainable in many games but mine is directed to FS2004. One could achieve this by turning sliders down to the bare minimum but not an option for me.
Any input from the designers would be most helpful...

Re: A few questions on the IR3 Pro version...
FPS is games is not an issue. If you have low FPS in games, you get stutter with or without the TrackIR. I have never seen any negative effects from the TrackIR in regards to frame rates in the game. And like I said... if you have low fps in game, you will get stutters with or without the TIR.
I have FS2004 to lock at 30 fps and have all the settings cranked. Sometimes in graphic intense areas I get lower than 30. I have never seen a problem with TIR in FS2004.
Hope this helps.
