Track IR 3 Pro and ED 3D Glasses

Post by JB563 »

I just received my Track IR 3 today and it works wonderfully...only problem is when I try to run it along with my E-Dimensional 3D glasses I get flashing of the 3D view but the tracking still works. Found out that when I run the test program for the 3D glasses that this problem starts as soon as the Track IR software is launched.....any ideas, I have all the latest drivers already....

Thanks

IcePick563,

This sounds very strange.
Are you using the updated video drivers that came with your glasses? I have not heard of this before as I know that eDimensional sell these bundled with our TrackIR.

I am pretty sure that we have some of these around the office, If not I will have a word with eDimensional to see about getting a set so I can take a look.

I ran across this while playing lomac. When ever I tried to look down at the ecm console in the a10 I would get flashes.
I figured out that the brim of the hat I had the tir dot on was blocking the ir signal to the glasses. If you're using a hat, just position the brim a little higher and recenter view.

Thanks to all those who responded....but I found the problem. I simply plugged the Track IR into a different USB port and everything worked fine.

The 3d glasses are the greatest addition to the Track IR....the feeling of being there is greatly enhanced.

Thanks again
