New USB Hardware?

About every 5th or 6th time I boot my computer I get a "found new USB Hardware" message and it is trying to set up the TrackIR Pro 3. But it is set up and works fine and has been for many months. How can it recognize the device most of the time, but on occasions just lose track of the drivers? IS there any way to stop this as it gets quite frustrating? I have re-installed the drivers but seems to keep happening at random times.

Are you using a USB hub or any type of extension cable? Does your USB port turn off when your system goes into sleep mode? (power save feature)
Have moved your device to another USB port?

Sometimes these cases can cause the system to find a new device because it sees it connected to a different USB Port within the system.

No hub or extension cable... but I will try moving it to a different port to see what happens
