after working for a year perfectly, trackIR3 has become completely unusable(rendering flight sims unplayable since I'm so dependant on it for my view now)
My problem: in game, the view simply snaps up and back to straight forward constantly, not responding to any head movements whatsoever. When I open trackir configuration, it shows the head doing the exact same thing. On the gauges screen the pitch just keeps moving back and forth regardless of using the tracking dot or not. on the tracking screen, the entire area shows up green and flickering, instead of black, with a dot where its tracking. the current dot (pixels) reading just keeps switching numbers rapidly, between 102950 and 355.
I just reinstalled windows, flight sims and trackIR about a month ago. I'm running an amd 64 on windows xp (regular 32 bit because of software issues with x64) The regular 32 bit drivers worked perfectly normal
At first, I played CFS3, MAW, IL2FB/Pacific Fighters and everything functioned as it had for the past year. Then a few weeks later I go to play strike fighters project 1, and this problem starts. OK so its a game problem....nope all my other sims do this, and the trackIR software in windows.
TrackIR 3 pro gone haywire Help!
Re: TrackIR 3 pro gone haywire Help!
Not using a USB hub?
Does unplugging and plugging it back in solve the issue?

I tried it before I posted, however that didn't help. I did find however that changing light filtering and dot size changed how the flickering behaved.
Oddly enough when I went to do it again, it works now.
