After installing my friends 3 pro on my computer to try to get it working again, I had the same prob as him. The program installed correctly, but as soon as I plug the device into the USB port, it is not recognized at all, and won't turn on. Any one have a suggestion ?
I have Xp pro. No x-keys or anything, X-45, MX 1000 mouse, Microsoft Media Keyboard in my USB ports, which are 2.0's.

Re: 3pro not recognized
No USB hub or laptop being used? Sounds like it may be a hardware issue.
If he is within the 1 year warranty have him email his details to rick@naturalpoint.com and we can go about setting up an RMA.

The USB Port is on your PC, the hub plugs into the port and gives (normally 4) extra conections. These conections ALL share the same port that the Hub is plugged into. As TIR has a high data transfer it can overload the maximum dta rates for the Port (think of a traffic jam).
