Reinstall every other use

I have a track IR i bought when the 3's were brand new. I have never tried to use it until now. Anyways every other use i have to unplug it and let windows re-install it. I am running current software on windows XP - Any idea's or info needed pls let me know.

Not using a USB hub of any kind? Also are you working with a laptop or a desktop PC?
