That must mean I'm... uh... 8th!

I've been a part of the WWIIOL experiment for 3 years now. For me, it's the best game ever due to the fact that it's dynamic. 3 years ago, the game was nothing like this. What we have no is about the best I could've hoped for 3 years before, and it's only just starting to really take off.

The best part is it's constantly being improved with new vehicles, new ui, new graphics technologies, you name it. You should see some of the stuff on "THE LIST" (TM) this year! Here the 2004 Development Roadmap . Also, for more about Deployment read The Deployment Primer .

We also have a very... uh... "unique" community. I think Gutted was trying to get that point accross. We have a breed of player known as "forumites" who aren't aware that there is actually a GAME that came with their subscription. They spend all day in OT doing what's known as "padding".

CRS a.k.a "The Rats" take a very active roll in discussing future development of the game with the community. Everything in Production is up for discussion and CRS will answer any questions the players ask.

I'll be honest though, there is a downside. This game requires the bleeding edge of System Requirements. I guess that's about what you'd expect from a game that combines First Person Shooter with Flight Sim.

Before you get a subscription, I HIGHLY recommend downloading the game for FREE from WWIIOL Downloads , then play offline to see if the game will run on your computer with reasonable framerates. If framerates are low, adjust the settings and see if the improve any.

Belaflek,

If you follow the link above on Catch22s post you can learn all about it.

A warning though, be prepared for long nights, this thing is very addictive.

Heh, wayne, he's just joshing ya, there's a sort of "inside joke" in WW2OL that the people who hang around the forum have no idea the game even exists, but I know bela knows better. I concur however, this is the greatest game I've ever played. Nothing has held my attention longer.
