Daviee,

If you can drop me an e-mail at work I would be happy to send you the profile that I use.

Installation is quite straight forward, just unzip and place the tir.file that you have extracted into your TrackIR folder, thats it your done.

When you start your TrackIR software the new profile will be there ready to use.

Hmm having problems getting profile to work. I downloaded Kaf's profile and trying to get it working. When I download it I get 'WWIIOL.tir.txt" file. I put it in my

C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles

and tried it in

C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4

Does not see it when I start the TrackIR software.

I also renamed it to. WWIIOL.tir and still nothing. I noticed when you make a profile its in xml format. So I changed it to a xml file WWIIOL.xml well thats not it. Hmm kinda lost. Is this for a older software then Im running?

Software Im running is:
TrackIR Ver. 4.1 Build 27
Running a TrackIR Pro 3

Can anyone lead me in the right direction... Thx Guys

Make sure under "Folder Options" that you have "Hide extensions for known file types" turned off under the advanced settings.

If thats turned on it can sometimes still leave the .TXT extension on the end of the file.

You are correct you need to place it in the folder but it must have the .TIR extension on the end of it.

Yes,
.tir is the extension for old software profiles (trackIR 2 and older). This is what you downloaded.

.xml is the extension for TrackIR 3 series profiles (using the latest software). Renaming to .xml won't work, because the file won't be in xml format.

You can find all our profiles here :
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/04- ... files.html

If there's a profile you'd like to see there, please send it our way. Thanks!

It is turned off. When I click on the file to download it opens up in a browser showing:

15,15,15,0,0,1,1,0,0,120,0,0.000000,0.250000,0.500000,3.500000,3.750000,4.000000,4.250000,4.500000,4.750000,0.000000,0.250000,0.500000,4.000000,4.250000,4.500000,4.750000,5.000000, 5.250000,1,1,1,1,2,15,3,15,0,0,1,1,1,0,1,0,0,0,91,92,123,122,0,120,121,91,92,88,0,0,0,0,F:\Game\MSFS2K2Pro\MODULES\trackir.dll,1,English,WWIIOL.tir,1,Sensitivity settings for WWII Online,1,0,0,35,1,0,1,0,1,1,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,500,1,0,

I have to right click on it and do a Save As to download it. But I get WWIIOL.tir.txt

And that file does not work for me. Very Strange.... I noticed when I make a profile a new one it makes a xml file. So Im comfused...

Ill keep at it...
Thx
