Subpixel

Post by Deepak »

Hello
I want to buy the optitrack cameras but the only concer for me is the Resolution factor(355x252).I have read that you do subpixel processing , but i would like to know what is the mutiplicative factor for the subpixeling. How many sub pixels do you process in one pixel.

The tracked location for objects is reported as the weighted center on the X and Y axes (floating point value). Any object larger than 1 pixel in area spans multiple pixels, this means that its center may fall between pixels and it will have sub-pixel resolution. Most tracked objects are in the 50-500 pixel (area) range and resolve to sub-pixel resolution.
