track IR or track IR gx???

was just wondering, have an opportunity to buy either of these...which is the newer product, and which is better????..........OR.......should i save up and spend 3 times as much and get the IR2? (being around the holidays, gotta watch the spending on myself)

Save up and buy the TIR2 as it is a much improved version over TIR1.
