I, too, am experiencing loss in fps when using the Track IR. It is a sizeable drop from approx. 24 down to aprrox. 15.

I fixed my problem on my own. Did you try the same thing I did yet?

The optimum distance is supposed to be somwhere between 24" and 36" and about level with your forehead. I think I saw this mentioned in the manual.
I started out at 24" inches and my FPS was taking a bad hit. When I pushed it as far back as possible on my monitor it sits almost at 36" away.
