I insist in my previous post, is really any diference as far as TIR4 related, between USB1 and USB2 ?Is really worth to do that ?, in a previous mail you said there was no diference between USB 1.1 and USB 2.-1 - Make sure you are running the latest motherboard Bios updates
2 - Make sure you have your USB drivers updated to the the latest chipset version.
3 - Try an externally powered USB hub, or add-on USB card.

Re: trackir pro4 on nforce4 motherboard
There is no diference in relation to the TrackIR. What updating does is fix any issue that the chipset manufacture may have had with the USB.
Re: trackir pro4 on nforce4 motherboard
So if the only issue is limited to the initial warning about that the USB is not a high speed one, and the TIR4 works, there is no need to do that updating.- Isnt it so ?There is no diference in relation to the TrackIR. What updating does is fix any issue that the chipset manufacture may have had with the USB.
Thanks
Re: trackir pro4 on nforce4 motherboard
No, as there can be power issues in general with some USB ports and how the chipsets are implemented on motherboards.

Bump for some news? I also have a Nforce 4 and get the same problem of the Hi-Speed hub message. It gives me a list of the hubs I can use but damned if I cannot get anything to show up in them. My device manager shows 2 USB root hubs...I've tried every USB port but nothing ever shows up in the hub XP tells me to plug it into...Everything I have plugged in is in the first hub...

Latest bios update, and chipset drivers?
Re: trackir pro4 on nforce4 motherboard
FWIW...
I have an MSI K8N Neo4-F(7125) latest firmware and drivers, reporting the same issues as seen, as far as showing that this is connected to a USB 1.1 connection...
I happened to have a USB 2.0 hub laying around and I'll be #$%*! if it stopped the USB 1.1 report.
So the "Hub Fix" worked for me.
