Slight movement ticks

Post by ben »

Hi, in fs9 using ir4, is anyone else getting slight movement ticks? I seam to be getting them on a y axis occasionally. - I dont have any nervous ticks, or Tourettes Syndrome (yet) so it can't be me!

Any thoughts? Not running any active camera.

Hmm

In your tracking window is there any other markers that show besides the 3 normal clip markers?

i'm having the same issue with FS2004 - I do have Active Camera installed, but tried it on two different machines ( one with AC on, the other with it off ) and still got the ticks... Seems to come and go - got about 15 minutes before I noticed them after installing initially...

Love the product - it's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time, but really need to resolve this issue...

I'm getting this problem too. It happens more often than not for me. I've checked the tracking and its not picking up anything else other than the reflectors. Anyone else experience this problem? Thanks

What is the Serial # of the device?
Should be located on the end of the cable, near the USB plug, or on the underside of the device.

Could you send us a copy of the Setupapi.log file?
It should be located in the C:\Windows folder

Have you tried the device on another system?

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?

Could you attach a screen shot of your device manager, and tracking screen?

To make Print Screen work, you must save an image of what's displayed on-screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a document where it can be printed.

Windows Help: Print Screen

To do this, follow this procedure:

1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn alone.
3. Open a new document in MS Paint, MS Word, MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Save the document as a .JPG or .JPEG file and send it in.

two things....................

If you are running 'Active Camera' untick 'Internal Pilot veiw' and make sure by checking your reflections in 'settings' that you have no other light interferances.

That should do the trick.

I am new and noticed the same thing. But then i realized that it actually is picking up on reflections of my glasses sometimes.
