TrackIR 4 Pro and FSX

Hi.
After watching the video in these forums of the LDS 763 and TrackIR I have decided to order one for myself. I do have one question though, will it be compatible with FSX when it is released? I dont want to spend �110 and it not work with FSX.

We currently are working very closely with Microsoft to ensure full 6 DOF in FSX.

We are currently testing with Beta 2, and should have it working in the final release.

I hope they will include all the updates that were being developed for the long time delayed new drivers and will not be the old drivers with just FSX support.

I dont understand why the betas are not being released to the public, like it was before.
The best beta testers are the customers, imho.

I've just seen this on the site

"The FSX demo that is currently out does not have support for third-party peripherals or add-ons and will not work with the TrackIR."

So that means we'll have to wait until the full release of FSX before we get TrackIR support.

One might conclude, when reading this post, that it is NOT possible to have Trackir working in the FSX Demo.
Just found a way around this
Start Track IR, enable mouse emulation, fire up FSX Demo, place yourself in the virtual cockpit and enable mouse look.
Of course it not 6D , but untill full support .....

That is a method to get it to partially work, it just dosen't show off the full capabilities of the TrackIR, or FSX.

Okay, so at the end, with the full support enabled, we will be able to move around in the cockpit like in FS2004. Really looking forward to it !
Are there any extra's, compared to Trackir/fs2004
