Nvidia 96.89 are good, but like other 9x.xx's I get low frames rates with Track IR on, i.e. not much above 20fps
With 84.20 and other 8x.xx's I get 60 fps most of the time (in IL-2).
I was wondering if Track IR (4.1.029) doesn't work with the new Nvidia 9 series drivers, because they have been optimised for dual card set ups?
Nvidia drivers & Track IR 4
Re: Nvidia drivers & Track IR 4
Our drivers really have nothing to do with the video card drivers, or GPUs themselves. T
Re: Nvidia drivers & Track IR 4
Well, I was thinking more along the lines of the 9series SLI supporting Nvidia drivers not working properly with the Track IR on, rather than any part of the Track IR not working with 9series Nvidia drivers.
But whatever 9series driver I use, the frame more or less halves when I turn Track IR on, whereas with the 8series drivers there's no problem (IR on or off).

Re: Nvidia drivers & Track IR 4
very strange, it could be accessing the CPU fo rsome of the SLI data transfer, which would then could cause some issues, but I haven't seen it myself yet.
Re: Nvidia drivers & Track IR 4
Thanks for your take on it, if it persists with subsequent Nvdia drivers or I see something pertinent elsewhere, I'll post here.

Sounds good, appreciate the update and info....
