Possibility to use TrackIR with a beamer?

Hi,

since i am moving my PC to the basement where i will use a HD-Beamer for gaming, i would like to know if it is possible to use Trackir together with the beamer.

Is it possible to just put the TrackIR in front of you on a low table?
Or hang it from the ceiling?

Sure, also some people mount it to the side, or behind them, then change the mounting settings in the TrackIR software.
