SmartNav PS/2 Port Usage
Can I do it? I have a KVM that controls two machines. It only accepts PS/2 input. Microsoft USB mice allow you to simply use a converter. Can I do this with SmartNav?

Hello:
The SmartNAV requires the use of your PC processor to place the cursor, so you can't use a simple PS/2 port or a converter, as it can't transfer all the USB data that is needed. You may be able to use a USB switch, I have seen that work on some models, but we don't recommend it.

Just an idea: An alternative for your application might be to only work on one machine (with the SmartNav) and use VNC (http://www.realvnc.com/, Free/Gnu GPL) or similar to access the desktop of the other machine.
