Looking Down at keyboard briefly

I have noticed this problem when playing IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.
I am able to look around and up and down while flying. I use a CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle and CH Pro Pedals. If it becomes necessary to type in a message I have to momentarily look down at my keyboard to place my fingers on the home keys. When I look back to the monitor screen my view is stuck looking at the floor of the cockpit forcing me to center the view each time. Is there a setting that will allow for me to be able to look down briefly without losing the tracking? Is there a position the TrackIr needs to be placed to prevent this from happening? Will I be forced to pause the tracking in order to look at the keyboard? Thanks

Well the view shouldn't lock, when you are looking down, but it is something that we hac=ve seen, and are working on, within the trackir software.

I thing to try is making sure that the TrackIR is as centered within the tracking screen as possible.

Been there, seen that, just started a new topic.

Try 4.1.29 or 4.1.28 if you can...I experience this _only_ with 4.1.30.
