can't scrub or play timeline backwards

I see that in demo videos you can scrub the time-line backwards and forwards, I can not. also it will not "play" backwards.
makes it a little difficult to work with, is this an issue any one else has had?

I am running on a high end laptop
geforce 7900 GTX with 512mb of ram
2 gigs system ram
dual core (2 ghz)

Data needs to be trajectorized first before you can play backwards

Shortly after I sent this I figured it out (isn't that the case 90% of the time?)

I was trying to scrub the point cloud data before I trajectorized it, as soon as I trajectorized the data it scrubs fine!
