TrackIR 4 Software doesn't start any more

Yesterday it just worked fine - as usually. But today it just refuses to start up.

Actually, when I look into the active process list in the task manager, I find the TrackIR.exe but not in the task list. I cannot terminate the process, but no error message is shown when I click on terminating process whith TrackIR.exe marked.

Restarting the PC didn't help.

De-installing old version and installing new software version didn't help either.

Red LED is as usual. Sometimes blue LED blinks. As usual. The windows material manager tells me that the hardware works correctly.

I've verified that all profile file sizes are below 5 kb.

What OS are you using?

What are the profile file sizes?

What other software do you have running in the background?

Can you start the software, withthe unit unplugged?

I've got WinXP

I have a lot of active processes running of course but no tasks.


Unplugging helped!
