TrackIR is no longer working in game

hello,
Since a few days my TrackIR is no longer working within FS9 (FS2004)

I reinstalled the software

I'm starting TrackIR prior the game (which wasn't necessary so far)

Within TrackIR software tracking is ok everything works fine

I have a green and a blue light and TrackIR 'Main' says

Current Game FS2004
Current Profile Flight
Status Tracking
Tracking Vector

So everything looks good - it just doesn't work.

Reasons that might have caused the error:

most probably it has to do with I installed CFS3
(TrackIR works fine with it)
Further I replaced language.dll in FS9 (no problem so far)
I installed USB Hub (but TrackIR is not on it and I removed it completely for testing)

But how can I get it back to work in FS9 ?
Do I have to reinstall the Flightsim ?
(My FS2004 currently is ~85GB)

Make sure you have the standard language.dll installed with FS2004. Some custom versions of the DLL remove strings required by TrackIR.

Are you in the Vitual cockpit?

Shame on me. It was in fact the language.dll
While testing I tried to replace it but only replaced one costum with another costum dll.
(Actually I'm trying to get rid of all those green msg-lines spoiling many attemps to make movies in FS)

Now I took the original one out of the CD's .cab and it is again working.
