smartnav for windows parallels

Post by johnny777 »

Hello
Has anyone tried using smartnav on a mac running a virtual machine with windows on.
If so then will smartnav control both the mouse in Mac osx and windows in the virtual machine
At the moment windows can utilise the mouse by being able to share the generic mouse driver on the mac.
Any comments gratefully rec'd

We don't recommend running the SmartNav software in virtual machines due to potential USB emulation and performance issues.

Mac OSX support for the SmartNav 4 is on its way from our one of our partners. It will be a separate software purchase provided by them.

I have a SmartNav attached to my Mac with the Mac OS X software from RJ Cooper & Associates. The mouse works fine in Parallels virtual machine (Vista in my case).
