Hey all -
(This is copy / pasted from my post over flightsimworld.com - if you fly FSX you might understand my issue.)
I need some help. I have been messing around with different settings in the fsx.cfg file. I decided to start with a new fsx.cfg after all the trial and error. All is well with the exception of my zoom.
I really don't think my issue is related to the fsx.cfg (in VC with TrackIR) as much as it is coincidental to some other issue. The problem that I am having is that the zoom doesn't stretch back like it use to. Even though the zoom is set at .30, I still feel up close to the panel. For some reason or other, I can't stretch it backward like I have always done before.
Again, I didn't change anything in the camera.cfg file. It's still set at .30.
The ctrl+entr or backspace don't have any effect.
I fly with a TrackIR. Any way, any ideas of why my zoom won't zoom back further?
Thanks
Bman.
Strange Zoom Issue in FSX
Re: Strange Zoom Issue in FSX
Alright, I figured it out on the way to work this morning. The zoom factor is completely unrelated to the TrackIR. I forgot to run the optimization tool through Matrox (3H2Go). I am sure that is it as it adds some lines to the fsx.cfg file to make zoom like it's suppose to!
Thanks
Bman.
PS - I can't find any place to change my user name on the forums ?!
