Exported data files
Exported data files
Hello.
We are facing the following problem:
If we use a 38 or a 34 markers model we always have a 57 columns file. If we add a rigid body we still have a 57 columns file. Then, where are the rigid body columns? We expected to have three columns corresponding to each marker in the exporting file. We need to understand the relationship between markers and columns in order to analyze the data with a MatLab routine.
Please if someone have had this experience, I'll appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Denise Helena

Re: Exported data files
In the current version of the Arena software, rigid body export via BVH is not supported. We will be releasing a future version of Arena where Rigid Body export will be possible via BVH.
Re: Exported data files
Hi Vincent
Do I have another way to do it?
I do need this data in order to sync and analyse the body movements and the force plate records.
Thanks,
Denise Helena

Re: Exported data files
can you use a c3d format?
Re: Exported data files
I'm gonna check it out.Talk to you later.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Exported data files
Yes Vincent, we can, but our trial to export this format of data was not successfull. Can you help?
Thanks,
Denise Helena

Re: Exported data files
Did it not export any data, in the c3d file?
Re: Exported data files
Unfortunally not.
Excuse me,actually, we criated a rigid body in order to sync the cameras and the force plate; it'll appear and disappear when subject steps on the plate.
But the rigid body markers were not exported with the others and we need them.

Re: Exported data files
Can you send me a copy of the c3d file?
Can you also send me copies of the skeleton, rb definitions, calibration file, and pt files?
You had trajectorized the data before exporting?

Re: Exported data files
Hi Vincent.
Yes, we trajactorized the data. I'll send the files you asked.
But I have another questions:
- when I use the 34 markers protocol how is calculated the long axis of the foot?
- when I add extra markers, are they considered to the mathematic calculation to movement reconstruction or not?
Thanks,
Denise
