Hi,
the specs for the V100 camera say it has a 45 horizontal FOV, but some posts in this forum (see for example "What is the Field of View Of Wide Lens") say it has a 33 FOV.
What is the real, effective horizontal FOV of the FLEX:V100?
In addition, I suppose that
Vertical FOV = (3/4)*Horizontal FOV
Is this correct for the V100?
Thanks
Horizontal field of view of FLEX:V100 camera
Re: Horizontal field of view of FLEX:V100 camera
The horizontal FOV of the stock FLEX:V100 is 45 degrees, the vertical FOV is about 33 degrees.
The ratio between vertical and horizontal FOV is based upon the imager resolution (it has square pixels) of 640 horizontal by 480 vertical. That is why vertical FOV = (3/4)*horizontal FOV.
