Using Remote Desktop

Hi

When I am using the remote desktop (WindowXP) to log on to my lab computer to control the Arena ,all I can see is just a grey area in the main and camera windows. Why? Thanks for your time.

Software is running fine, on the 'remote' system otherwise?

I've never tried using remote desktop, with the software before.

Arena displays the 3D and 2D views using DirectX. There are probably compatibility issues with remote desktop and DirectX.

We would also caution against trying to capture data with Arena when remote desktop is running. The overhead of transmitting screen updates through remote desktop could have a negative impact on Arenas performance and tracking.
