I just ordered what I thought was your state-of-the-art product the TrackIR 4 and the next week, you come out with the TrackIR 5. You even charged me the old higher price for the TrackIR 4. Thanks a bunch.

Hey don't take it too hard, I just received a TrackIr 4 a week ago(birthday) to upgrade my old TrackIr 3, but that's the way technology is in today updated tomorrow, I'm really enjoying my recent purchase

Get this. I called the sales dept last week. Asked them if this was the best that they had. So I ordered the IR4Pro package. It will be delivered this coming Monday. I have not even gotten it yet, and I got the email today saying pretty much. Look we lied.. You purchased a inferior product at a nice full price minus $15 bucks for the package. I called again just a few minutes ago and was told that their hands are tied. When I asked why I was not informed of the scheduled release on the 1st of May, I was told that they don't like to let anyone know of future product releases because of problems that could arise. I feel cheated.

It is not our policy to pre-announce any product releases, just like many other tech companies.

If that's the case why don't you just refund me the difference between what you charged me for the IR 4 and what the new reduced price is right now? If you would have at least intimated that you were going to release the new version in a few days, I would have waited and paid the higher price for the new version. Instead, you don't tell me, force me to return it at my expense, and now I re-buy it at a lower price and now without the other options I ordered! You lose money. Regardless of what your policy is on notification of pre-release dates, I don't think losing profit on a sale takes a back seat.

I was actually waiting for my newly ordered TrackIR 4 to arrive in the mail, when I found out about TrackIR 5. Haha.
Luckily I live in a country where you by law have a 14 day full refund warranty on anything you buy, without having to provide a reason. So now Ill send TIR 4 back, and Ill buy the TIR 5 for the refund money.
But Naturalpoint, it would be a nice gesture of respect to your costumers to give some sort of preview a month or two before release
Let them plan purchases and create some hype about it.

I'm feeling a bit irritated here too. I just received my TrackIR4 on Wednesday. The new one I think literally came out the next day. If I had known that the new release was this close I would have waited for the newer version and I cant help feeling a little cheated. It just adds some insult to it when the new one is cheaper. Perhaps they were holding off until the last trackir4 set was sold. Meh anyway.. guess I'm venting now but that's how I feel.
