Two more points points to make:

1) I tried it out just now and it seems sunlight was the issues.
2) The shaking is continuing and I think it is activecamera which is intefering. I think it might as well uninstall it seeing as I have the TrackIR now. Is that what you would advise?

I disabled ActiveCamera and now the problems no longer exists
