Trackir4 stops tracking in game

I had trackir3 and a few months ago bought trackir4 with proclip. Now ingame it will work for a short while then stop tracking. I have reinstalled drivers, changed usb hubs but still it will stop working in game. Help.
I also have the pro clip. Maybe I ought to go back to my vector clip to see if it stops doing this. Maybe my clip is bad

Does this happen after a given period of time?

Connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?

Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.

I am stright to pc no hub. Power management uncheck. 286ma on power out of 500 ma per port. It happens in my IL2 game and just started doing this last two weeks. It is eratic on time. Mostly in game for 15 minutes and stops tracking. I uninstalled and change to another hub. Reinstall and I am going to see what happens.

Ok worked for a little bit now it stops tracking again. When it stops ingame I get out and un the view window it is all white.

Is it time to rma this?

I got out my trackir3 and vector clip. After some testing I am getting the feeling it is the Proclip that is bad. Doing more testing on trackir 3 and 4 with proclip and vector. So far the vector clip has not dropped once. Will be back later with more testing.

Ok even with my vector clip it still stops tracking. It gets the mo data message. So it must be the trackir 4. Gonna have to install my trackir3 untl I get this RMA. Shall I call support and get it RMA?

Someone in my squad suggested to see if my UBS drivers needed updating. Updated my USB drivers and so far so good.

Updated USB drivers and still stops tracking. When it stops tracking in game I have to take out the plug in the USB port and reinsert it and it resets fine. I am getting a new motherboard this week and see if that stops it.

Ok got my new motherboard and still a no go. Installed my trackir3 and it works with the proclip I bought with trackir4. I think it is time to rma this trackir4. Also will I need to return the proclip since I bought it with it?
